Angels' Tears

I saw the Angels' Tears fall,

And felt them on my face.

I heard the Angels' Voices call,

And knew their hurried pace.

I felt the Angels' Sorrow in the air,

And I could not help but care.

I knew the Angels' Intense Stare,

I had accepted the dare.

And now I feel the Angels' Price heavy, given to me,

And I could not help but see,

The precious Angels' Tears,

As they fell on my face for years,

Each more precious than the last.

But that was in the past.

Now I feel the Angels' Tears no more,

They are no longer on my face,

For from me they tore,

The privilege of the Angels' Embrace.
